This November, we anchor into the lands of Southern Oregon to call the priestesses, mystery school oracles, & sorceresses forth in the name of divine alchemy & the drum.

This experience is a 3-day ceremonial immersion for ancient drum priestesses & those who feel the call to meeting her shadows, dancing with our ancestors, & praying to the Earth through drum, song, ritual, & reclamation.

✨ Overview

Thousands of years ago in Ancient Egypt, through the cults of Goddess Isis and Hathor, the women drummed -- for rites of passage, life, & death, inner alchemy, and divine manifestation.

We are being called upon to bring this through once again.

Across the weekend, we will engage in

Women's Primal Drumming Ceremony

Ritual Theatre

Rhythmic Play & Learning

Deep EFT Soul Work

Vocal & Sonic Experiencing

Altar of Rhythm Initiation

to embody the drum priestess — in mask and in vulnerability — so we can walk in TRUTH.

A Little Background

The Drum Temple Experience is designed to bring your closer to personal truth through the ancient arts of ritual, sisterhood experiencing, drum, & song.

Using the West African djembe, Siberian and South American Shamanic drum, and our personal vocal vibrations, we will move from the mind to the heart & explore our inner blocks so we can dissolve them and be free.

We do this all while in the safety of sisterhood so we can be held in our tears, fury, joy, ecstasy, and remembrance.

🌑 Day 1 (Friday, November 13): Crossing the Threshold

Arrive to the land between 12:00pm and 1:00 pm

At 2pm, we will experience:

Opening intention & welcome circle

Egyptian Alchemy workshop

Welcome dinner

Return to the primordial pulse through a guided full-body activation

*Attire: casual ceremonial (open to interpretation)

Bring: Water bottle, journal, layer of warmth, snacks, comfortable clothes for dancing

🌒 Day 2 (Saturday, November 14): Into the Temples

Full-day Immersion

We will:

Ease into the morning with optional tea and meditation

Drop into cacao, breathwork, and a soul-expanding EFT journey

Roam the land and prepare ourselves for ceremony

Come together for the full initiatory Women's Primal Drumming Ceremony

Close the night with snacks, sisterhood, and quiet integration

This is the day we rattle it all loose, express, and UNFURL. In sisterhood and safety we will explore our masked selves, and walk in the steps of our Ancient Egyptian sisters.

*Attire: Ceremonial attire for the evening drumming ceremony; casual for the day

Bring: Water bottle, journal, snack, ceremonial evening attire, djembe & shamanic drum if you have, layer of warmth

🌓 Day 3 (Sunday, November 15): Return to the Light

We will:

Move gently through optional tea and yoga

Participate in Rhythmic Embodiment djembe workshop

Offer ourselves to the Altar of Rhythm

Settle into a rhythmic, sensory sound healing & EFT journey

Close in circle together

This is how we integrate the journey. After rising up from the temple realms, we drink in light. Bellies full, laid to the side, we ponder how we will continue with our new and transformed selves. Integration is our highest work so that we can BE ourselves in the continued world.

*Attire: Comfortable, casual, or ceremonial — whatever you desire

Bring: Water bottle, journal

About the Facilitators

Katie Berns Lee (K'hatya)

K'hatya is the founder of Drum Temple LLC, where she helps people open their hearts, ground in, and get in touch with their “truest and most primal selves” through deep activation, ancestral remembrance, and reconnection to the primordial heartbeat.

Through her music, she connects deeply to indigenous and ancient cultures from West Africa, Latin America, Mongolia, the Middle East, and folk America, and her mission encourages a return to original ways of feeling, expressing, and being as stewards of this Earth.

K'hatya believes that rhythm and ritual activate vibrational messages from our body and soul—so may we use these tools to communicate the messages coming through us during times of great responsibility and transformation.

Hannah Joy

EFT Soul Journey Weaver & Cacao Ceremonialist

Hannah is a guide through inner thresholds within sacred and somatic space. Emotion, energy and spirit moves freely and is experienced fully in my signature Soul Weaving ceremony. Rooted in Ceremonial Mothering and Ancestral Reclamation, I blend EFT/tapping, the medicine of Ixcacao, meditation, breathwork, intuitive movement, Ayurveda and more for support during deep healing and remembrance.

Together, we co-create a safe landing place to return home to the body, release inherited patterns, reclaim the truth flowing in blood and bones, and reconnect with the divine within.
