Learning how to play the djembe has changed my life. It’s given me a way to connect with myself and others, even in the most challenging times. And it's taught me the art of discipline, ceremony, personal expression, and inner artistry.
Through that I have found ME.
So let’s learn to play the djembe, an instrument that has brought me so much joy, together in cozy, supportive community. Unwind with activation, connect to the deeper significance of the drum in our soul and blood ancestry, and jam it out every Wednesday night with all our new friends and a side of jokes and tea.
Begins Wednesday, February 7th 7:30-8:30pm EST and continues each Wednesday until March 27th.
ALL WEDNESDAYS EXCEPT February 14th Valentine's Day-INSTEAD, we meet the 15th!

An opening drop in with your optional cup of tea and meditation
Opening drum and voice activation to shake off the week’s willies
Grounding djembe instruction
Songs to play along to and sing
Trance and meditative drumming
Free play and jams
