This is essential ancient knowledge for the modern day human.
In this 4-class immersion, we drop into the heart-centered wisdom, rituals, and rhythms inspired by Ancient Egypt through the medicine of the Blue Lotus and the first drum — the ancient frame drum.
We will explore:
• Frame drum technique
• Trance playing; descending and ascending with rhythm
• Blue Lotus tea ceremony & activations
• Egyptian & Kabbalistic Tree of Life technologies & tools
• Guided group ritual experiences
• Sound & voice exploration
• Exploring Egyptian archetypes as teachers and mirrors of consciousness
• Underworld → upperworld (death-rebirth transformation)
Throughout this experience we will be in creation of a full group rhythmic and sonic ritual to carry forth with us after we close. Each session will build upon the previous one to form this entire journey.

Katie Berns Lee (K'haht'ya)
Katie is a Jewish American primal hand-drummer, songstress, musician, activator, connector and creator of Russian and Polish heritage.
She believes that rhythm activates vibrational messages from our body and soul—so let us use it to communicate the messages coming through us during times of great responsibility and transformation.
Frame drum (required):
*Recommended to be no smaller than 14 inches across the head with a deep shell (wider wood portion) if possible.
In general, the bigger the drum, the deeper bass sound it will have. I love a good bass!
