6-9pm EST

Location TBD in North Miami

This is essential ancient knowledge for the modern day human.

In this 4-class immersion, we drop into the heart-centered wisdom, rituals, and rhythms inspired by Kemetic and Kabbalistic principles, and the Tree of Life, through the medicine of the Blue Lotus and the first drum — the ancient frame drum.

We will explore:

• Frame drum technique

• Trance playing; descending and ascending with rhythm

• Blue Lotus tea ceremony & activations

• Kemetic & Kabbalistic Tree of Life technologies & tools

• Guided group ritual experiences

• Sound & voice exploration

• Exploring energetic archetypes as teachers and mirrors of consciousness

• Underworld → upperworld (death-rebirth transformation)

Throughout this experience we will be in creation of a full group rhythmic and sonic ritual to carry forth with us after we close. Each session will build upon the previous one to form this entire journey.

**a frame drum is required to take this course (recommendations posted below)

Curriculum:

Day 1: Entering the Body, the Underworld, and the First Sphere

Through the archetypes of Osiris and Anubis, we enter the underworld and void. With Egyptian Blue Lotus tea and guided meditation, we explore Malchut — the foundation — like the lotus rooted in mud, reconnecting with the quiet inner womb-space where we can simply exist without needing to change anything. Allows shadows to be illuminated.

We will explore the frame drum as a sacred portal and Earth anchor, learning its ancient history and connection to Hathor, the Goddess of music, and its role in regeneration, transition, and resurrection. We then open the ritual through voice and rhythm, attuning our drums and voices to the felt self through vocal toning exercises and low, slow bass rhythms that create connection to the underworld. You'll learn how different sounds on the drum and in the voice can attune us to specific energies and archetypal realms, discovering how to travel through the mud with rhythm and song as we vocally open pathways to our inner depths.

Day 2: Fire, Truth, and Alignment

We meet the fire of Sekhmet,  the energy that restores balance when we move out of alignment. Through voice, drumming, chanting, and the principles of Ma’at, we explore honesty, boundaries, and the experience of standing in truth.  The Tree of Life begins to rise to the formation spheres within our awareness, and sacred geometry becomes something felt. Our evening will be supported by a Blue Lotus elixir, experience shifts from chaos  toward coherence and clarity.

Using the frame drum as a tool for restoration, we'll learn rhythmic patterns and techniques that help us come back into balance and embody the fierce, protective fire of Sekhmet. Through specific drum sounds and tempos, we anchor the principles of Ma'at—truth, justice, and harmony—into our bodies, allowing the drum to guide us from discord to alignment as we build the foundational and formation spheres of the Tree of Life within ourselves.

Day 3: Heart, Relationship, and Living Presence

From stability and truth, we move into the heart. Guided and expressed by Isis, Hathor and Horus, we explore connection, devotion, and presence through drum, movement, and sound. We will activate the Merkaba Chariot of Ascension within us and receive a pink lotus Elixir of the heart. The voice becomes a bridge between inner feeling and outer expression as we connect to the throat chakra and the hidden Da'at knowledge of the Tree of Life. This evening invites us to feel and be felt while remaining centered, open, and grateful.

Through the frame drum, we continue creating our ritual piece that we'll perform together at the end of the fourth session. Using heart-centered rhythms and melodic drumming patterns, we learn to express devotion and presence through sound, allowing the drum to open pathways between Tiferet (heart) and Da'at (throat). We will focus on connection with the heart and heartsong and rhythms that illuminate this.

Day 4: Illumination and Integration

In our closing session awareness opens upward into meaning. Through the teaching and expression of Nut and Sun Ra, we sense ourselves as part of a larger living web. As we drink our final Blue Lotus tea cup along with a white lotus Elixir, the lotus within us rises fully into light. Moving up the tree toward Keter, awareness is experienced as integration, and the geometric pattern and sound of Archangel Metatron becomes a living technology our soul remembers and we carry into our daily life.

We complete our ritual piece through frame drum, dance, and song, bringing together all we've learned across the four sessions into a unified performance that embodies the full rhythmic energetic Tree of Life. Our drumming reaches toward the stars, using celestial rhythms and expansive soundscapes that connect us to Nut, goddess of skies, and the cosmic harmonies of Sun Ra. Through this culminating ritual performance, the drum becomes our vehicle for reaching Keter—the crown—as we integrate the entire journey from underworld mud to celestial light, carrying this sacred technology forward into our lives.

*Recommended to be no smaller than 14 inches across the head with a deep shell (wider wood portion) if possible.

In general, the bigger the drum, the deeper bass sound it will have. I love a good bass!
